Exciting times!

For the last few years I have been an evenings and weekend photographer, fitting in my photography with my full-time day job. Because of this, I have had to turn down photography jobs during the week because my day job prevented me from being available.

However, in November 2017, I was given a brilliant opportunity: I started working part-time in my day job, allowing me to dedicate more time to photography.

I couldn't be happier with this new arrangement. It has already led to lots of wonderful photography jobs and I am very keen to add more photography jobs for 2018!  So please do contact me if you are looking for a wedding, event, portrait or corporate photographer.

Another change for me is that I moved from Sheffield to Mirfield, West Yorkshire, in September 2017. My day job is still in Sheffield so I am very much available for photography bookings in Sheffield and surrounding areas as well as in West Yorkshire (i.e. Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford, Dewsbury as well as my lovely home town of Mirfield!).  And of course I'd be more than happy to travel further afield - I'm thinking of you Doncaster, Manchester, York, Nottingham, Liverpool etc - so please let me know if you need a photographer in far flung places.

Below is a selection of photos I have been booked to take since November 2017.  I have had more bookings than those I show below; this is because quite a few of my bookings have asked for the photos to not be shared publicly.  For instance I have photographed a 5th birthday party, a 6th birthday party, a new-born baby shoot, photos of University of Sheffield Computer Science students undertaking research with robots (!) and a science event at a secondary school, none of which unfortunately I can share.

Sheffield Hallam University Graduation 2017

I was booked by a number of Sheffield Hallam University graduates to take some informal photos of their graduation with their families.  Please get in touch if you want me to do this for you when you graduate!

Sheffield Hallam University 'MD's Club' business event

This event is run in conjunction with the University of Sheffield and is an invite only business event for Sheffield based companies.

I was booked by the Global Engagement team at the university to photograph one of their international students for a social media campaign to attract more international student. I especially liked the background we chose for the shot; a great mural painted on the side of a university building.
